Dear Parents and Students,

On behalf of the staff at Calvary Chapel Christian Academy, I want to welcome all of you. I am very pleased you have decided to partner with us in the lifelong process of Christian Education. We are very proud of our school and feel it offers excellent opportunities for students to seek out and develop their faith, as well as their God-given gifts.

We believe in the directions that God gave us in the Bible, “Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old, he will not depart from it” (-Proverbs 22:6). Unfortunately, the public education system today does not agree with this mission. They educate, but fail to build up our children in the other ways that they should go.

By consistently building up children educationally, socially, physically, and spiritually, we are creating an environment where students will not depart from the path that God wants them to follow.

What makes Calvary Chapel Christian Academy distinctly different is our goal to focus on creating a home school atmosphere in a Christian school setting. That means: smaller classroom sizes, individualized educational goals, and a priority on teaching the Word of God. We also seek to teach students how Christ would want them to live and serve, and then realize their gift to God is to live for and serve Christ in every area of their life.

The student handbook is intended to help you understand how our school operates, and to provide information about opportunities for your son/daughter.

One of the most important things for students to remember is that the actions and attitudes expressed by each person are an important part of “building up the Body of Christ.” Maintaining a Christian atmosphere in our school is a responsibility that must be shared by everyone.
